Now, a year on and it’s back.
American Girl is the first girl-focused digital magazine in the US, which has since launched a subscription service and has already launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund more content.
While American Girl has only been published in the past three years, the magazine has already been a key factor in the rise of digital magazines and a key source of funding for many other emerging digital magazines.
“This is a really important and growing opportunity,” said Anna Lee, managing director of The Young Capital Group.
“This is an opportunity to be a part of the digital revolution, to be part of this new ecosystem of digital, and to be contributing to that.”
Lee and her partners are launching American Girl with the help of a team of young professionals who have been creating content for years.
“I think it’s a fantastic opportunity for us to take the platform from where we are today to where we want to be in five to 10 years time,” Lee said.
“We’ve got some great ideas for the future of the magazine, which I can’t tell you too much about at this point.
We’re really excited about it.”
Lee has spent the last few months working on the new magazine, and she and her team are confident that the magazine will be a success.
The magazine has been published on a variety of platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
While the publication is available only in the United States, Lee said the company plans to launch the magazine internationally, in a number of languages.
“We are really excited to see what the future holds for American Girl,” Lee told CoinDesk.
“I can’t wait to see the magazine as it grows and expands into other countries.”
Lee said that the launch of American Girl was not a decision she had made lightly, and it was an “unprecedented” opportunity.
“It’s a very big deal, and we’re all very excited to be working on it,” Lee added.
The magazine has not been without controversy.
The publisher of American Girls, Jana Brown, said that she was “uncomfortable” with some of the content on the site.
However, Lee is convinced that the publisher is doing a good job of policing what is acceptable on the website.
Lee also thinks that American Girl will grow over time.
“It’s the best young business magazine I’ve ever read,” she said.
Lee added that she believes that the site has already “a very robust following of young people”, and that the company will continue to grow its audience through the publication.
Lee is optimistic that American Girls will be able to reach more people.
“There’s a lot of people that we’re working with who are excited about this, and are also very excited about the future,” she added.
“American Girl is not just about making the magazine that young women love.
It’s about creating an ecosystem of young women who are passionate about what they do and about building an ecosystem where young women can be part the platform.”
For Lee, American Girl also represents the future for digital media.
“In 2017, we had the largest percentage of millennial-specific media consumers in the entire US.
It is now time for us all to take back our digital media and build a new generation of media platforms,” she continued.”
As we see the growth of digital media, it’s also time to build a network of young media creators and to connect them with the resources that they need.”
