The original Super Metroid reboot will not feature any DLC, publisher 2K Games has confirmed.
This is not surprising, as the franchise’s creators have had no time to develop a full-fledged remake.
They also have yet to announce a date for a release date for the sequel, which would see the game’s story and characters move from Earth to another planet.
The franchise’s creator, Keiji Inafune, made a statement to fans on Twitter in response to news that the reboot would be released in 2020.
“I think we have a long way to go before we will release the sequel,” he wrote.
“The next game is in development.
Please look forward to it.”
