The NFL’s best team, the New York Jets, has lost three straight games, including a 24-20 overtime loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday.
The Jets have lost seven straight road games.
They are 3-5 at home this season, but haven’t won since Week 3 of last season.
The latest loss to Houston on Sunday was the Jets third straight defeat, and they’re now 1-3 against the Texans since 2010.
It’s the most lopsided loss for the Jets since the 2010 season, when they lost to the Texans 21-17 in overtime.
That’s the closest the Jets have come to winning the game, which is the longest losing streak in franchise history.
The Texans won for the first time since the start of the 2017 season on Sunday, with Josh Johnson scoring a touchdown on a 4-yard run.
The game was also played in Houston, where Texans fans can watch the game on their own TVs, since the NFL allows fans to watch their team’s games on their TVs.
Johnson scored the touchdown on the final play of regulation, as the Texans scored first, but the Jets couldn’t convert.
Houston is 3-3 at home since the opener of the season, and have lost three of four on the road.
That was the first loss by a Jets team since 2011, when the team went 0-5.
It was also the first game since 2005 when the Jets had a losing record at home, but that was the last time the Jets lost to a team that was 0-4 at home.
The Houston Texans had the ball for three quarters, but lost the lead in the fourth quarter, thanks to a four-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Marshall to Marcus Johnson.
Johnson also caught the pass, and was able to run for two touchdowns.
Johnson was targeted six times and had a career-high five catches for 68 yards, including an 80-yard catch-and-run.
The team had just two touchdowns all season, a three-yarder by Antonio Andrews and a three, 54-yard drive by Phillip Dorsett.
The teams had the most total yards on the night, with Houston totaling a franchise-record 488 yards on their 41 offensive plays.
The last time a Jets offense went over 400 yards on offense was Week 8 of last year.
The Jaguars scored first on a 28-yard pass from Maurice Jones-Drew, but Houston could not convert after a two-point conversion attempt by Dorser.
The ball was snapped after a fumble on the Houston 31, and the Texans had just one play to set up the field goal.
Houston then scored the first touchdown on their next play on a 16-yard reception from DeAndre Hopkins, who had his first career reception on the opening play of the game.
Hopkins finished with five catches, but it was his first catch in his career.
The first score of the first quarter came on a 22-yard field goal by Brandon Weeden from 53 yards out.
The next touchdown came on the second play of that drive when Justin Blackmon ran through the Jaguars secondary for a 42-yard score on the next play of play clock.
That drive resulted in a touchdown, as Hopkins ran a 4, 39-yard play that gave Houston a 7-0 lead.
The Chargers had their second touchdown of the night on a 30-yard kick by DeAndre Goolsby to open the third quarter.
The third quarter featured four touchdown drives in the first half.
Hopkins ran for four yards on two runs of 15 yards or longer, and Weeden ran for another touchdown on his next play, this time on a 29-yard scoring run that set up an Andrew Luck completion.
That completion went for 21 yards.
It marked the first completion of over 20 yards by a team in the last 24 years.
That came on another three-and a half-minute drive, when Hopkins ran back to the left for a 46-yard gain.
The fourth quarter started with a 15-yard punt return for a touchdown by Goolsid.
The final score came on 11 minutes of overtime, when Blackmon completed his first pass for a score on a 2-yard plunge to open a 14-10 lead.
That led to a field goal, and a 14, 20-14 tie.
Houston trailed 14-0 at halftime, and then scored three unanswered points in the third overtime period to take a 27-24 lead.
New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton was not pleased with his team’s effort.
“I felt like we weren’t as good as we could have been, I felt like our effort wasn’t where it needed to be,” Payton said.
They’re not making the right plays. “
This team has got to get better.
They’re not making the right plays.
They don’t have the ability to score points.
And I think that’s the biggest thing, right? We need
