By Jeff Rimer/Business Insider The Glock 19 has been a long-standing favorite among gun enthusiasts for years, with some calling it the best semi-automatic handgun available.
But there’s been some question as to how it came to be.
The gunmaker made a big splash in 2012 when it announced the acquisition of a small gun maker, Glock, and started manufacturing Glock pistols for the US military.
That led to some initial demand for the gun.
But the gun has been plagued by delays and some buyers were concerned that it wasn’t a good deal.
Then there was the possibility that it would be discontinued after its initial public offering in 2017.
But that was never a possibility, so in March of 2018, the gunmaker announced it would soon start manufacturing the gun for the civilian market.
But for those who wanted to get a hold of one of the more affordable pistols in the world, it was only a matter of time before Glock would make it.
After years of waiting, the first-ever Glock 19 came to market on April 15.
It was the perfect handgun for the enthusiast, but it’s not the gun you want if you want to hunt with your friends.
