Vice magazine has launched a new digital magazine.
The new magazine, titled Magazines, will be available in print and digital formats starting on January 1, 2019.
“We have been waiting for years for a digital magazine to arrive, and we are delighted to be able to share this with you all,” said Vice president and publisher Kevin Systrom in a statement.
“The Magazines will be a true reflection of our editorial vision, bringing you the best in local and national news and entertainment, with a strong focus on editorial independence.”
In a statement to Quartz, Vice said that the magazine is designed to be “full of thoughtful and personal journalism, but at the same time, with its content, we’re also creating a magazine that can be used as a platform to explore and educate.
It is this combination of journalism and education that makes Vice an exciting, fresh, and exciting brand.”
Magazines is not the first time Vice has published a digital version of its publications.
In 2016, Vice released its first magazine in digital format, Magazines for iOS.
In 2018, Vice magazine launched a digital-only subscription service, Vice Magazines.
